Diablos Rojos played an exhibition game today against El Metro, which, as far as I can tell, is an amateur team from Mexico City’s subway system workers. Diablos eeked out a win, 7-6 on a walk-off. Here’s some more drawings. As with the others, I tried to do them as quick as possible, a couple of minutes each. A good reminder that I could really use some life drawing classes.
Over at SB Nation, Bulk Hamskunk had a good idea: to ask people to draw the Orioles’ logo from memory. This was my pathetic attempt. Plenty of good fun stuff in the comments over there.

Some more drawings of the Diablos Rojos at this morning’s training session. This is just practice for me, really. Drawing people is something I need to practice a lot, and it’s fun and hard to do that when people don’t stand still for very long. Each of these sketches took 2-3 minutes max.
A few seats over to the right, and you’d have seen me at the top hunched over my iPad doing those drawings I did yesterday. Source.
Some super quick drawings done at Foro Sol this morning, at the Diablos Rojos’ open-to-the-public training session.
If I had a Little League team they would be called the Flip Flop Flyers, and they would have awesome unis.
