Bob Gibson is pitching, Tim McCarver catching, Dave Concepción at bat, and Dan Driessen is on second. Concepción goes on to ground out, Driessen moving over to third. Up next, Ken Griffey doubles, and Driessen scores. The Reds tie the game in the sixth, and finally, in the twelfth, George Foster doubles, knocking in two runs, giving the Reds a 6-4 win.

One track mind. I’ve been spending most of the year working on my Flip Flop Fly Ball book (out sometime in spring 2011, published by Bloomsbury USA). Baseball has taken over my brain.
